- A Love & Hate Relationship with Uncertainty
Uncertainty, maybe just another word in the English dictionary, but it holds so much meaning in it. A single word that carries enough weight to break you in one moment and build you in the next. A word that can feel like an enemy at one moment and the best thing in another. Life is full of uncertainty, good and bad. It gives you reason to really pause sometimes because of opportunity, sometimes because of loss. And it's in those pause moments that you truly realise, reflect and begin to understand your life a little more deeply. Uncertainty teaches you adaptability: to a situation, to the environment, to people in ways you never even imagine of. Maybe you didn’t get the offer you worked so hard for, the one you were sure was yours. Because of uncertainty, it slipped away. In that moment, uncertainty feels like an enemy. You start blaming yourself. Self-doubt creeps in you and you begin questioning your worth. But then there are moments when you receive the most unexpected offer, in the most unexpected way. Suddenly, uncertainty becomes your best friend. You feel grateful, not just for the opportunity, but for the journey that led you there. You see, if uncertainty can bring bad news, it can bring good news too. It’s just that you don't always notice the good when you're too focused on what you lost. Uncertainty doesn’t just force you to adapt to situations you didn’t expect; it teaches you patience, humility, resilience, and trust. Trust that even when things don’t go as planned, something meaningful is still unfolding.
- The complexity of being 'good'
The idea of being a "good person" speaks to the reality of human relationships and perspectives. No matter how kind, thoughtful, or well-intentioned you may be, everyone sees the world through their lens, shaped by their own experiences, biases, and emotions. You may be a hero in one person's story and a villain in another's, based on circumstances and their personal viewpoint. People are as complex as you trying to find your way out of a maze while also being imperfect. Even the most virtuous actions can be misinterpreted or viewed negatively. Sometimes even doing the right thing for one person means hurting or alienating someone else. You can't live your life seeking universal approval because it's impossible . True growth happens when you prioritize your values and integrity over how others perceive you. Being true to yourself may also mean disappointing others, and that’s okay.
- Behind the Smile: The Invisible Battle
The day that marked the beginning of a never-ending saga of fear, the fear of that wave returning was one I will never forget. It hit me like a wave of storms I never saw coming. The complexity that had been buried deep inside me, only to burst out one day without warning. From that moment, it felt like an unstoppable force. That wave was first but not last. As much as I wanted to deny it, I had to accept the truth, I had experienced a panic attack. It hit me unexpectedly like a wave hitting down without warning. Suddenly, everything around me seemed to disappear, and I was lost in the maze of emotions. That hit left me breathless, terrified, and completely uncertain about what was happening to my body. My heart raced uncontrollably, my hands trembled, and the world around me seemed to blur like I was being pulled into a vortex. It was overwhelming and, more than anything, confusing. This moment marked the start of my journey through the often silent suffering which is getting difficult to hide and bury inside me. The ignorance of the signs forced me to confront the reality I had long avoided. My mental health wasn’t something I could push aside anymore; it had become a central part of my everyday life. As terrifying as that first experience was, it was only the beginning. Each hit of the wave felt more intense and more difficult to manage. The trembling in my hands grew worse, my legs would shake uncontrollably, and tears filled my eyes as the overwhelming sense of fear took over. I often felt as though I was losing control of my own body. With every episode, I became more fearful of the next, living in constant anxiety over when it might strike again. The unpredictability of it all left me on edge, scared of my own emotions. It was a cycle I never wished to experience but one I felt powerless to escape. Experiencing a panic attack remains one of the most nerve-racking and frightening experiences of my life. It’s a moment I never want to rewind, but it lingers in my mind, triggering fear and anxiety every day. Each time I think about it, I’m reminded of how vulnerable I felt. It’s a moment that to this day, I continue to fear. It destroyed a part of me, leaving me with a lingering sense of unease that I struggled to overcome. The fear of facing another attack is always with me, a shadow hanging over me every day, every quiet moment when my mind has time to wander. For someone always seeking academic validation, it was difficult to step back while taking exams also for merely one panic attack. In the silent hall, everyone focused on their paper. I was there at the center and didn't know what to do, or whom to seek help. I wanted to come out of that space but I was scared to easily give up. I was resistant to staying back for merely that paper which you may say but that merely paper carried my dream. Which I can't even afford to lose for merely that panic attack I may reply. I never wish that merely panic attacks to be the reason, but is the reason for my fear of seeking those validations again, my fear towards my dream. Someone who was once an academic achiever is no longer an academic achiever. I wish to be the one I was but I can't. I seek those academic validations but I can't. I see those disappointed faces around me but it is hard. It is hard to be the same person I was once before. As frightening as it was to accept back then, panic attacks have now become a part of my life. I wish I could erase those frightening memories, those suffering behind the smile just like I lost the count of the suffering I endured. Those will always remain there as a magnet to life and never let be the unforgettable ones. It will come back with a wave of storm every time I try to erase it from my life. It will never let those be easily erasable nor let you forget it. It will remain there as long as I am here and with the wave of storm it will hit me every time as long as I am here like, a part of my everyday routine. Behind every smile, there is an untold truth, which will never be unfold. Behind every smile, there is an invisible battle that everyone is fighting for secretly. Those untold truths will never be revealed, nor those invisible battles ever be known, until I am gone. And even then, I truly wonder if anyone will truly understand the depth of silence I carried all this time.
- Through the Eye of a Witness
I was shattered as I watched people across the country suffer, powerless to do anything but stand by. The sense of helplessness was overwhelming. Over the years, I had seen floods and landslides in the country, but this time, it was different, it was massive. Entire communities were swept away in the blink of an eye. People lost everything they had spent their lives building. It was heartbreaking to witness. People lost not only their homes but the lives they had built for years. The people they called their families, the places they called home. Dashain, the biggest festival of Nepal, is just around the corner, but the Nepalese are striving not to celebrate but merely thriving to survive. In all the chaos, many couldn’t even reach their loved ones or ask for help. The floods had not only destroyed homes but also broken communication lines, leaving people stranded in a silence filled with uncertainty. To make things worse, many didn’t have the money to buy basic necessities. In a time when banking is supposed to make things easier, the power cuts and electricity outages made it nearly impossible to access funds or even get in touch with anyone. It felt like the country had been cut off from everything. As I stood there, watching the floodwaters enter into homes from one after another, it was as if lives were being washed away before my eyes. And I, like so many others, was powerless. The sense of helplessness weighed heavily on me, knowing there was nothing I could do but stand there and watch as the destruction unfolded. Through my eyes, this disaster wasn’t just a flood but it was a wave of loss, grief, and despair.
- Academic Validation can be Scary
Once an academic achiever is no longer the academic achiever. I wish to be the one I was but I can't. I seek those academic validations but I can't. I see those disappointed faces around me but it is hard. It is hard to be the same academic achiever. Yes, I crave those academic validations but as I do look for those validations I get lost somewhere I don't know where it is, and it's hard to find the way out. It's hard to be the same person I was before. Staying all night, putting all my efforts just to be that Average Student or maybe below it. Putting my mental health on the line I did I tried but I just could not. I hope one day I become that same academic achiever getting straight A's but it's getting more difficult day by day to find my way back up there. I am lost I don't know where I am. I am not enough I don't have good grades. I am scared. Constantly scared of not being able to get into my dream uni. I am scared I won't be able to fulfil that childhood dream of a little girl. Scared but afraid to give up also. As I come to the end of my high school year I am afraid that I will yet again get lost and lose all those to get back that little girl who was once an academic achiever, who was once a favourite of every teacher. A little girl once said ' You will come all the way up just don't see down see what is ahead and you will make it. Don't be scared I am always there. Don't be scared of the future. Don't be scared of failure. Be scared of not trying. Be scared of giving up. Be scared of yourself. Be scared of me, not others. '

- There is no such thing as right or wrong timing
Timing is often considered a crucial factor in success, but the truth is that there is no such thing as right or wrong timing. The concept of timing is subjective and varies from person to person. What may be the perfect time for one individual may not be the same for another. It is important to understand that timing is not the sole determinant of success. In fact, focusing too much on timing can lead to missed opportunities. Instead of waiting for the 'perfect' moment, it is better to take action and make the most of the present. Success is not just about timing, but also about hard work, perseverance, and adaptability. These qualities are more important than waiting for the right opportunity.
- Do Illusion and Delusion refer to as the same term ????
Regardless of the cause, it is important for individuals experiencing any sort of problems to seek professional help in order to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life. Illusion and delusion are two terms that are often used interchangeably, but they have distinct meanings. The human mind is a complex system that can create illusions and delusions. Illusions are false perceptions of reality, while delusions are false beliefs about reality. Both illusions and delusions can be harmful, leading to irrational behaviour and decisions. Illusion Illusion is a perception of something that is not present or real. It can be created by our senses, thoughts, or beliefs. For example, a mirage in the desert is an illusion created by our eyesight. Our mind can also create illusions, such as when we see faces in clouds or hear music in white noise. Why do people get illusions? Illusions are a product of our brain's attempts to make sense of the world around us. Our brains are constantly processing sensory information, and sometimes, they create an illusion when there is a difference between what we expect to see and what we see. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as when we are tired, stressed, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Delusion But on the other hand, delusion is a belief or idea that is not based on reality. It is a persistent false belief that is held despite evidence to the contrary. For example, a person with delusions of grandeur may believe they are a celebrity even though they have no evidence to support this belief. What causes people to get delusions? Delusions can occur due to a variety of factors. One common cause is a mental illness such as bipolar disorder or depression. Other causes of delusions include drug use, sleep deprivation, and extreme stress. In some cases, delusions may also be a result of a traumatic experience or a physical injury to the brain. Is it curable? Can we ever come out of illusion and delusion? Will we be stuck in illusion and delusion for a lifetime? There may be many wondering about its solution. Illusions and delusions can badly affect a person's quality of life. Though there is no known cure for these conditions, there are treatments available that can help manage the symptoms. Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) is effective in treating both illusions and delusions. This type of therapy helps individuals identify and challenge their negative thoughts and beliefs, which can lead to a reduction in symptoms. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave
